Biggest party in recent times
Anwin’s writes in his blog:
And then came in David Pascal, the Chennai based singer, with his band (I guess). And that was heaven. I tell you, you have to be there to appreciate his voice. They just set the stage on fire with their music. The songs the played were the likes of Sting (Message in a bottle), Oasis (Wonderwall), RHCP (Aeroplane), Bryan Adams (18 till I die), etc. It was a great pleasure watching them sing and perform on stage. All accomplished musicians by the way they played and sounded. And, David Pascal, just sang away to glory and had the crowd mesmerized with quality vocals.
And then some DJ from UAE came on stage and practically set the whole grounds on fire with Dance music. It was one huge Disco. People gyrating and dancing all over the grounds. Lasted for more than an hour and a half by which time we left.

Bangalore’s weekend extravaganza
Kpowerinfinity’s thoughts on October Fest 2007
I went only the second day, but the good thing was that the place was teeming with people. People of all shapes, sizes and ages (between 4 and 40) had lined up in front of the stage head-banging to the rock competition. There was a plethora of games, activities and fun time-pass things on the side. And there was a lot of beer which my friends drank to their fill and insanity

Indian Rock at October Fest 2007
Gaurav writes in his blog:
What made me happy as I left the venue was the fact that there were 4 bands that played there today towards the end of the day atleast, which included Bangalorean Extinct Reflections and Slain, Sling Shot from Mallu land and MotherJane. Not one of these bands played a cover. All of them played their own songs and managed to keep a crowd of about 1000 – 2000 interested. A sure sign that Indian Rock has taken many positive strides forward!

Anita Bora, writing in her blog, had this to say about the October Fest.
…I was pleasantly surprised by the way the whole set-up was organized. They had nice seating arrangements all around the front area of the stage, so you could chill out and eat your food and drink your beer and enjoy the music from wherever you were.
